Membership Fees
The OpenSTX Foundation is fully funded through to 2027. Membership fees take effect on 1 January 2027, and all fees are annual. Until then, joining as a Contributor is free and all we ask is active engagement with the OpenSTX community. Linux Foundation membership requirements for General and Steering members will be confirmed before fees take effect.

Annual Fee: $100,000 (flat fee, all organization sizes)
General Members
5,000+ Employees Annual Fee: $30,000
500 – 4,999 Employees Annual Fee: $20,000
100 – 499 Employees Annual Fee: $10,000
Under 100 Employees Annual Fee: $5,000
Contributor
*Annual Fee: $0
Non-Profit, Academic and Government
*Annual Fee: $0. Non-profit, academic and government organizations do not pay membership fees, including when participating on the Steering Committee. Steering Committee participation is considered on a case-by-case basis.
